Booking Amendment Policy

No charges, if the Date and or Time of the pickup is changed more than 24 hours before the original pick-up time.

If the pick-up date and or time is changed 24 hours before the original pick-up time, an Amendment fee of £20 will apply.

Once a driver and vehicle have been allocated to a transfer, any late amendments will not be accepted.

Amendment Policy

We advise you to make amendments to your bookings via email only. Kindly don’t make any amendments to the driver.

Re-Booking Policy

All bookings and return bookings should be made directly with our office via our website, email or telephone. Private hire drivers are not allowed to book journeys directly as it’s against the law. Journeys booked directly with the driver are illegal and not insured at all.

Cancellation Policy/Cancellation charges

You can cancel your bookings at any time however, charges will apply as follows.

Cancellation before 48 hours to the pickup time – Full Refund

Cancellations between 12 to 48  before pickup time – admin charges of £20 cancellation fee will apply.

Cancellations within 6 hours to pick-up time or afterwards – No Refunds

All cancellations should be made via email only.

If the passenger doesn’t show up for whatever reason, no refund will be issued.

Waiting Time /Airport/ Seaport

The first 45 minutes after the plane’s actual landing time is totally FREE. No surcharges at all. Waiting time after 45 minutes will be charged at £15 every 30 minutes pro rata regardless of the reason. It’s very important that the Contact telephone number you have provided us is reachable. If we cannot establish contact with the passenger or they fail to contact us within the mentioned waiting time, then the bookings will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued. If you are experiencing unusually long delays due to Immigration, Baggage reclaim Customs or any other reasons, It’s imperative that you call us to update us. Failing to do so will result in us releasing the driver after complimentary waiting times. No Refund will be issued in these situations. If you refuse to pay the waiting charges your taxi will be cancelled and no refund.

Late

Bristol City Transfer will not take any responsibility for any of our passengers missing their Flights/Trains/Cruise Ships due to the Taxi not arriving at the pick-up address at the booked time due to unforeseeable circumstances such as traffic conditions, adverse weather, or road traffic accidents or road closures. Such factors are totally out of our control.

We advise our passengers to travel with the necessary travel insurance.

Payments

Online Secure Payments provided by Stripe. All major debit and credit cards are accepted incl Amex at no extra cost.

Meet & Greets  

We provide MEET & GREET service with 45 min Complimentary waiting time.

Our driver will ring/text you on your mobile number to inform you that he/ She is waiting at the arrivals hall giving you extra peace of mind.

Your driver will be waiting in a designated area in Arrivals Hall with a welcome board displaying your name. He/She will escort you to your vehicle and assist you with your luggage.

Rest assured we will do everything we can to ensure that your booking and transfer are conducted as smoothly as possible.

Bristol Airport pick-up

Upon your arrival, expect to receive a text message and a phone call from your designated driver, providing you with their car details. When you’re ready for pickup, kindly inform the driver. Your driver will then meet you at the Drop & Go car park.

Bristol Airport drop-off

The driver will drop you off at the Drop & Go car park at no additional cost.

Luggage 

All luggage should be placed in the vehicle’s boot. Our company is not responsible for any damage to your luggage.

Non-airport Pick Ups (Home, Office, Train Stations etc).

Our driver will call or text you when he/she is at the pick-up point and guide you to his/her vehicle. The first 10 minutes of waiting is complimentary. If we cannot contact you and you don’t contact us after 10 min your taxi will be cancelled and will be no refund. 

If you require additional time, please contact the driver. If he/she agrees to wait, you will be charged an additional £15 for up to 30 minutes of extra waiting time.

Food and drink 

It’s important to note that all our vehicles maintain a strict no eating or drinking policy, and any infractions will result in a £50 fee. However, drinking water is permitted.

Additional items

You can request child seats for an additional cost of £10 per child seat. Please specify the child’s age and the type of seat in the notes when booking.

While child seats are not legally required in taxis, we can offer them upon request. Please be aware that the availability of child seats is limited and cannot always be guaranteed.
